Adilen joined Park Avenue Dermatology in January 2017.  She has worked as a Certified Physician Assistant, caring for Dermatology patients, since 2002.  Originally from Miami, Florida, Adilen is a graduate of Barry University’s Physician Assistant Program, where she earned a Masters in Clinical Medical Sciences.  She also holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Barry University.  Adilen has prior experience in general dermatology and surgery, allowing her to diagnose and treat a wide variety of dermatological conditions.  Adilen is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.   Her interest in Dermatology was originally sparked after doing a clinical rotation in Dermatology while in PA school.  She was surprised at how challenging and exciting the specialty truly was.

During her free time, Adilen enjoys gardening and taking care of her backyard chickens and pig, as well as taking camping and hiking trips with her husband and 3 sons.  She is also fluent in Spanish.
